REVISION OF SET PROCEDURES - MULTI AGENCY CHILD PROTECTION PROCEDURES FOR SOUTHEND, ESSEX AND THURRICK

CONSULTATION Monday 5 July - Monday 2 August

The revision of the SET Procedures has been taking place over the past year and is now nearing completion.  The consultation version of the document will be available on LSCB websites from Monday 5th July until Monday 2nd August 2010 together with a form for sending in any comments / feedback.

When looking through the document, please do not take any notice of indexing, cross-referencing, hyperlinks etc. as work is still to be done to ensure that these are correct, we would just like comments on the wording within the modules.  Please check modules that are particular to your agency.

One of the main changes made is that modules 5 and 10 have now been amalgamated into one module.

Also available on the website is the consultation on the revised Child Death Review Procedures.  The timescale for consultation on this document is the same as for the SET Procedures, comments can be provided on the SET Consultation feedback form.
